Open Workspace Design

We initiated design for this targeted batch of high-impact graphic by developing the item with the largest coverage, then letting the outcome of that design inform the look of the next couple sites.

We arrived at the design for this spacious 3-wall office inset with a couple rounds of composition iteration and a fair amount of color matching to keep the mural in dialogue with the targeted bursts of color scattered around RHEG's otherwise sleek, modernistic office decor.

1. Second Office Inset Design

A) Concept for a follow-up site we were asked to propose designs for. The client requested a design that adapt to the existing canvas mounted on the wall (B) and incorporate typography and depth in some way.

C) In keeping with the theme of illusory transparency we'd established with the open workspace mural, I proposed a concept that set flat graphic letters against cropped slivers of colored sintra to lend the piece some added depth and intrigue.

3-4. Lenticular POV Renderings

G, H) As a proof of concept for incorporating a backing mural against our proposed typographic lenticular, I put together a quick rendering illustrating the effects of the display when seen from the left and right side.

Large Lenticular & Backing Mural

For their conference room, the client wanted a high-impact typographic moment using verbiage they provided.

Given the graphic motif of false-transparency and starkly overlapping planes, I proposed we pair the 48" tall illusory column structure with a backing design for the lenticular to act against. This had the added pro of tying the two major graphic sites in the space more closely together.
